Dear Foster City Elementary School Community,

Welcome to a new school year! It is a joy to begin my fifth year at Foster City Elementary School and to continue serving this incredible community as your principal. Over the past several years, I have had the privilege of building meaningful relationships with our students, families, and staff, and I am continually inspired by the kindness, resilience, and dedication that make our school such a special place.

One of the things I am most proud of is the warm, welcoming, and joyful culture we have created together. Every day, our students are greeted by caring adults who believe in them, encourage them to take risks, and celebrate their unique strengths. Guided by our Falcon Four—Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe, and Be Ready to Learn—we strive to create an environment where every child feels valued, connected, and empowered to succeed.

This year also marks an exciting new chapter for our district as we begin working together to develop a strategic plan that will guide the future of our schools. I look forward to partnering with our students, families, staff, and community as we embrace this important work. Together, we will continue to build on the strong foundation we have established while creating new opportunities for every student to learn, grow, and thrive.
